Founded in 2006 Valland S.p.A. is a private owned Italian valve manufacturer headquartered in Piantedo (SO), in the Valtellina valley of northern Lombardy. The company employs approximately 65 people across engineering, manufacturing, quality control, R&D and additive manufacturing. Valland designs and builds every valve in-house, from engineering and material selection through machining, assembly, testing and final inspection. This vertical integration allows full traceability and direct quality control over every production step. The company operates three specialized divisions: the core Oil & Gas valve business, Valland3D (additive manufacturing) and a dedicated Hydrogen Valves unit developing flow control solutions for the hydrogen value chain. Valland's engineering team works directly with end users and EPCs to develop tailor-made valve solutions for project-specific operating conditions, including sour service, cryogenic service, high-pressure hydrogen and abrasive or erosive media.
Products
Product range. Valland manufactures trunnion mounted ball valves, floating ball valves, top entry ball valves, top entry rising stem ball valves, slab gate valves, double expanding gate valves, single expanding gate valves, parallel slab gate valves, check valves and cryogenic ball valves. Sizes range from 1/2" to 42", pressure classes from ANSI 150 to API 15.000. Valves are available in carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, super duplex, titanium and nickel alloys. Certifications. All products are certified to API 6A, API 6D and API 6DSS. The quality management system is certified ISO 9001:2015, the environmental management system ISO 14001:2015. Hydrogen valves. Valland develops ball and gate valves rated for high-pressure gaseous hydrogen service, with material selection specifically engineered for hydrogen embrittlement resistance. Applications served include PEM and alkaline electrolyzers, hydrogen refueling stations (HRS), hydrogen pipeline transport and industrial hydrogen storage. Special design capabilities. The engineering team develops non-standard valve configurations for specific project requirements, including short-pattern valves, annulus valves and mechanical valves for wellhead and christmas tree applications.
