Floating
model H21 (Hydrogen)
Model H21 is the floating ball valve of the Valland hydrogen range, covering small bore duties from 1/2" to 8" in pressure classes ANSI 150 to 1500. Like the H11, it is built exclusively in hydrogen-compatible materials (UNS S31600/S31603, UNS S31254, UNS S20910, UNS S66286) with special gaskets to avoid contamination from the environment, anti-blowout stem and antistatic device.
The H21 is the typical choice for electrolyzer balance-of-plant lines, refueling station piping and hydrogen utility services. Seventy Valland hydrogen ball valves (models H11 and H21) were supplied to NEL Hydrogen for the M4000 Iberdrola project, with deliveries between 8 and 19 working weeks.
