Model A11C is the cryogenic execution of Valland’s trunnion mounted ball valve. The design principle is the same as the standard A11 — trunnion-supported ball with floating self-relieving or double piston effect seats — adapted for low-temperature service: materials are restricted to grades with proven low-temperature toughness (stainless steels, 6Mo, nickel alloys, titanium), and the valve is equipped for cryogenic duty with live-loaded packing and cavity pressure relief.

Every A11C valve can be cryogenic tested at -196 °C per BS 6364 in Valland’s in-house facility before delivery. Typical applications include LNG liquefaction, storage and regasification terminals and low-temperature process services where a trunnion design is required by size or pressure class.
