Valland hydrogen ball valves are derived from the field-proven oil and gas designs, re-engineered for gaseous hydrogen service. Two models are available: the trunnion mounted H11, for sizes up to 42" and pressure classes up to ANSI 4500, and the floating H21 for small bore duties up to 8" and ANSI 1500.

Both models use hydrogen-compatible materials only (UNS S31600/S31603, UNS S31254, UNS S20910, UNS S66286), special gaskets against environmental contamination, anti-blowout stem and antistatic device. Testing includes high-pressure gas, pneumatic and functional tests, with testing in hydrogen environment available per client specification, fugitive emission testing per ISO 15848-1/2 and SIL certification up to SIL 3.
