High quality and tailor-made valves

Valland S.p.A. is a privately owned Italian valve manufacturer, founded in 2006 by Eng. Andrea Mondora and a team of people with decades of experience in the valve business. The company designs and manufactures high quality, tailor-made ball, gate and check valves for the oil and gas exploration, production and transmission sectors — including subsea — and for other severe-service industrial applications.

Today Valland employs approximately 65 people across engineering, manufacturing, quality control, R&D and additive manufacturing, and operates three specialized divisions: the core Oil & Gas valve business, Valland3D (additive manufacturing) and a dedicated Hydrogen Valves unit developing flow control solutions for the hydrogen value chain.

Every valve is engineered in-house: a team of seven engineers covers design, material selection, Finite Element Analysis, SIL and Safety Analysis Reports, working directly with end users and EPC contractors on project-specific operating conditions such as sour service, cryogenic service, high-pressure hydrogen and abrasive or erosive media. Assembly, testing and final inspection are performed at the Piantedo plant by Valland’s own workshop team, with a production capacity of 2,000–3,000 valves per year and lifting capability up to 40 tons. Over the years the company has consolidated a strong network of qualified partners and local vendors covering every step of the purchasing and manufacturing process.
