Valland’s Quality Management System is implemented according to ISO 9001:2015 and regulated by strict internal procedures for quality control and quality assurance; the environmental management system is certified ISO 14001:2015. Since 2008 Valland has achieved and maintained three API monograms: API 6A, API 6D and API 6DSS. The company also satisfies the provisions of the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 2014/68/EU) and is registered in the Achilles JQS and EPIM JQS qualification systems for the Norwegian and international oil and gas supply chain.

Quality control at Valland relies on in-house inspection capabilities: CNC-controlled measuring equipment, positive material identification (PMI), hardness testing on metallic and polymer materials, dye penetrant, magnetic particle and ultrasonic examination, and reading of radiographic plates.

The system is subject to continuous improvement through reviews and audits by internal personnel and authorized agencies. Documented activities for monitoring, measurement, analysis and improvement are available on request, to demonstrate product conformity and the adequacy of the Quality Management System.
